Making Bootable USB on macOS

Once you identify your USB (e.g., /dev/disk2), create a bootable Ubuntu USB using:

diskutil unmountDisk /dev/disk4

sudo dd if=~/Downloads/ubuntu-22.04-live-server-amd64.iso of=/dev/rdisk4 bs=1m

or 

sudo dd if=~/Downloads/ubuntu-24.04.1-live-server-amd64.iso of=/dev/rdisk4 bs=1m

⚠️ Replace /dev/disk2 with the correct disk identifier from diskutil list (using the wrong disk could erase your system dr23ive!).
