AWS with EKS

1. install kubectl first

2. get kubeconfig from remote EKS

aws eks update-kubeconfig --name ${EKS_NAME} --profile ${AWS_PROFILE} --region ${REGION}

e.g)
aws eks update-kubeconfig --name my_eks --profile my-dev-profile --region ap-northeast-2
kubectl config current-context

check namespace

kubectl get namespaces

check pod names of specific namespace

kubectl get pods -n ${NAME_SPACE}

e.g)
kubectl get pods -n test-name-space

Access to specific pod

kubectl exec -it ${POD_NAME} -n ${NAME_SPACE} -- /bin/sh

# e.g)
kubectl exec -it connectivity-test -n test-name-space -- /bin/sh
